Legislative & Executive Lobbying

Lobby Utah is here to help you succeed in your dealings with the government. We build and leverage relationships with decision-makers to help our clients when it matters. We represent our clients before lawmakers, executive branch officials and staff, and local governments. This work includes monitoring and engaging in legislation, rulemaking, regulations, pursuing appropriations and procurement opportunities, and other lobbying activities. We have experience lobbying on issue related to natural resources, mining, insurance, taxation, transportation, land use, environment, technology, procurement, local government, employment, and much more.

Local Government

To be effective on a local level of government, it is key to have an understanding of how government operates with part-time elected officials, full-time staff, and the rules governing their operations.  Lobby Utah is uniquely qualified to help clients navigate the local government process to succeed in their goals. We assist clients interested in working with local government for a variety of issues, including: zoning, development agreements, land entitlements, procurement, licensing, ordinance changes and more.

Procurement

Lobby Utah's procurement work is designed to help clients win contracts and close deals with state and local governments.  We work with our clients to identify bid opportunities, work with decision-makers and procurement agents to pursue their goals. We also help create new opportunities for clients hoping to do business with the government.

Strategic Planning

Lobby Utah assists clients with their political and government relations strategic planning, as well as campaign strategy and execution. This work includes developing plans for lobbying, procurement and business development, campaign donation strategies, relationship development, licensing and permitting, and campaign management and support for elected office.
